In a recent tweet, journalist Ben Jacobs claimed that Real Madrid are unwilling to let Aurelien Tchouameni leave this summer. It is understood that Los Blancos have got no plans to part ways with the French midfielder in this off-season.

Tchouameni’s Impressive Season At The Bernabeu
The 23-year-old had a decent campaign at the Madrid club as he was responsible for putting in several solid displays at the centre of Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield. Tchouameni picked up four assists in 50 appearances for Los Blancos last season in various competitions.
The Rouen-born midfield ace was a good performer in both halves based on his average of 1.9 tackles, 1.5 interceptions, 1.5 clearances, 1.2 shots, 0.7 key passes and 0.8 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga. He has even been accurate when distributing the ball from midfield after completing 93.5% of his attempted passes in top-flight football (stats via whoscored).
Tchouameni is under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium until the summer of 2028. Hence, Real Madrid have no immediate need to cash in on him right now.

Tchouameni is a good tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to secure the ball back for his team in the middle of the park. He doesn’t mind clearing the danger when required and is a good passer of the ball as well.
The French talent can make a few powerful runs with the ball from midfield and can shoot the ball with power from long range.
At the moment, Tchouameni is still learning his football at the Madrid club. Hence, Carlo Ancelotti can expect to get the best out of him in the not-too-distant future if he decides to keep hold of the player beyond this summer.
At 23, Tchouameni has the skillset to be a success story at the Bernabeu in the long run. Thus, Los Blancos should focus on retaining his services as he could help them compete for even more major honours over the next decade.
