Pubill’s Impressive Form In La Liga 2 Last Season
Pubill had a decent campaign at the Spanish club after he put in a handful of solid performances on the right side of their backline. The Spaniard scored a couple of goals and picked up one assist in 31 matches for Levante last season in multiple competitions.
The 20-year-old proved himself to be a consistent performer in La Liga 2 recently, so it is no surprise that the Villans along with Sevilla are showing interest in recruiting him this summer.
His current contract at Levante will run out in the summer of 2026. Thus, Aston Villa will have to make a convincing offer if they want to lure Pubill to Villa Park in this off-season.
What Will Pubill Add To Aston Villa Boss Unai Emery’s Team?
Pubill is a solid defender at the back as he can time his tackles well to secure the ball back for his team. He doesn’t mind clearing the danger when needed and is full of energy and running on the right flank.
The Spanish youngster is still quite inexperienced at the highest level and would need time to settle into life in Premier League football. At 20, he has the potential to become a world-class footballer someday as long as he continues to improve himself with each year.
We can expect Pubill to add more depth to Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery’s squad ahead of the new campaign. He has what it takes to fight for a regular starting spot at Villa Park next season.
The Spaniard would also bring more competition for Matty Cash at the West Midlands club. Therefore, Emery would be wise to try everything in his power to acquire Pubill’s services before the end of this transfer window. However, only time will tell whether he would be able to adapt to the physical side and high intensity of English football.
