Sarr’s Impressive Run Of Form In English Football This Season
Sarr enjoyed a decent campaign at Vicarage Road as he put in a run of impressive displays on the right side of Watford’s attack. The 25-year-old scored ten goals and picked up six assists in 39 appearances for the Hornets last season across multiple competitions.
The Senegalese talent was a decent performer for Watford in the final third based on his average of 2.1 shots, 0.9 key passes and 1.4 dribbles per 90 minutes in the EFL Championship. He was even careful when distributing the ball in the opponent’s half, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 79% in the English second tier (stats via whoscored).
Sarr is under contract at Vicarage Road until the end of next season. Thus, it makes sense for the Toffees to try and land him on a cut-price deal this summer.
What Will Sarr Add To Everton Boss Sean Dyche’s Side?
Sarr has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He can make a few dangerous runs with the ball in the opponent’s half and has got the eye to unlock the opponent’s defence with a killer pass in the final third.
The Senegalese talent can shoot the ball with power from long range. However, he has to find a way to improve his productivity in front of the opposition goal.
Sarr will add more pace and goals to Everton head coach Sean Dyche’s frontline. He is good enough to challenge for some major trophies at the Merseyside club.
At 25, Sarr is about to enter his prime and could help the Toffees stay out of the relegation zone in the Premier League next season. However, he is still unproven in the English top flight and would need time to settle into life at Goodison Park if Dyche can find a way to secure his services before the end of this transfer window.
