Juventus left back Patrice Evra is reportedly in talks with West Ham United for a possible move. The defender has made only three starts for Juventus this season.
Evra is very keen for a return to Manchester United where he spent a trophy-laden eight seasons before being signed by Juventus in 2014. But Jose Mourinho is unlikely to make any first team recruitments in January and will rely on Luke Shaw. The 21-year old has been struggling this term with Matteo Darmian filling in his shoes this term.
Evra’s contract with Juve is due to expire at the end of this season but the 35-year old doesn’t want to wait too long.
Aaron Creswell has been one of the most gifted left back for the past couple of seasons for the Hammers but he has had limited appearances this time due to injuries. Evra could be a good backup option for Slaven Bilic whose side have been very inconsistent this season.
