In a recent report, Sport mentioned that Liverpool star Thiago Alcantara is dreaming of a return to Barcelona. It has been stated that the Spanish midfielder is thinking of a potential move to the Catalan club but the Reds plan to retain him beyond this summer.
Thiago’s Up-And-Down Season In The Premier League
Thiago had a campaign of mixed emotions at Anfield as he missed a lot of games due to injury but managed to put in a handful of influential displays at the heart of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield. The 32-year-old made 28 appearances for the Reds last season, picking up one assist on all fronts.
The Spanish talent was a decent performer in both halves based on his average of 2.4 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 0.7 clearances, 0.6 shots, 0.9 key passes and 1.2 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League.
