In a recent print edition, SportBILD mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are eager to make a €40m move for Bayer 04 Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba. It is believed that Spurs are hoping to bring the Burkina Faso centre-back on board before the end of this summer transfer window.
Tapsoba’s Solid Season In German Football
Tapsoba enjoyed a decent campaign at the German club recently as he was responsible for putting in a run of dominant displays at the heart of their backline. The 24-year-old registered two goals and two assists in 47 matches for Leverkusen last season across all fronts.

At 24, Tapsoba has his best years ahead of him which makes him a good fit for the North London club in the long run.
