Liverpool are engaged in a three-way battle with Tottenham Hotspur and Everton for the service of Jacob Murphy. The Norwich star has been in great demand recently after sparkling performance in the Championship.
The 21-year-old has impressed this term with 10 goals in 25 appearances. The England U-20 international came up through the ranks of the Canaries and can play on either wing.
Everton are also planning to bring him alongside his brother Josh Murphy as Ronald Koeman has been looking for a wide-man in the market.
Jacob is in his last year of the contract and would command a much lesser fee. Also, Klopp can rope him on loan and send him back to his previous club which would further recede the fees of the player.
After failing to land Christian Pulisic, Klopp wants to bolster his attacking options.
Roberto Firmino hasn’t been impressive in the last couple of matches and Sadio Mane is all set to leave for AFCON.
