In a recent report, Sport mentioned that Barcelona are keeping tabs on Real Valladolid starlet Ivan Fresneda. It has been claimed that the Catalan giants are eyeing a move to bring the Spanish full-back to the Nou Camp during this summer transfer window.

Fresneda has managed to break into Valladolid’s first XI after putting in a run of impressive displays on the right side of their defence. The 18-year-old has made 26 senior appearances for the Spanish outfit so far.
The Madrid-born talent has been a decent performer on the right flank based on his average of 2.2 tackles, 0.7 interceptions, 2.0 clearances, 0.8 key passes and 0.7 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga. He has even been accurate when distributing the ball going forward, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 80.7% in top-flight football (stats via whoscored).
His current contract at the Spanish club is set to run out in the summer of 2025. Hence, Barcelona will have to launch a convincing offer if they want to recruit the Spanish starlet in this off-season.

At 18, Fresneda has already got some valuable experience in La Liga under his belt. Therefore, he will be an excellent signing for Barcelona boss Xavi to pull off this summer.
