In a recent tweet, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano offered an update on Real Madrid and their pursuit of Chelsea forward Kai Havertz. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are unwilling to pay €60m plus add-ons for the German international this summer.

Havertz’s Difficult Season In The Premier League
Havertz had a tough campaign at the West London club as he struggled to be consistent with his productivity in the final third. The German talent registered nine goals and one assist in 47 matches for Chelsea last season on all fronts.
The 24-year-old deserves some credit for averaging 1.0 tackles, 1.1 clearances, 2.0 shots, 1.1 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in Premier League football. He has even been tidy with his ball distribution after completing 82.4% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via whoscored).
