According to former midfielder William Gallas, Arsenal needs to get rid of from their ‘Perfect football’ if they really want to rival Chelsea for the Premier League title. Arsenal made a remarkable comeback as they came from 3 goals down to make it 3-3 against Bournemouth in the last match.
Arsenal have lost two back to back matches out of their last six. They got defeated by Everton and Manchester City by the same margin as the Gunners have just managed a single win in their last three away matches.
The Gunners are now placed fifth with 41 points and are eight points adrift of League leaders Chelsea.
Gallas said, “When you play away from home, you have to be ready physically and mentally. Sometimes, Arsenal want to play perfect football too much.
“Sometimes you have to say, ‘No, stop.’ You have to be solid at the back, reply physically, and after that you impose your style of play. And unfortunately with Arsenal, it’s not like that.”
