Arsenal faced off against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road. The Gunners made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute when Taiwo Awoniyi scored with a good finish. The Italian sensation struggled to catch the eye with his performance at the centre of the park.

He earned the ball back twice and was accurate with his passing.

He made two decent chances for his teammates in the final third but failed to get his name on the scoresheet today.

Jesus was a real threat in the final third and was unfortunate to hit the post.

Trossard managed to create one good chance from the left flank but was toothless in front of the Nottingham Forest goal.
