Everton will face off against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they try to collect all three points on the road. The Toffees suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City recently which has drained their confidence ahead of this game.
Sean Dyche will opt for a 4-5-1 formation and could keep changes to a minimum for this game. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a major doubt for this game and will have to pass a late fitness test if he wants to feature from the start of the match versus Wolves.
4-5-1 Everton Predicted Lineup To Face Wolves
Defence
Jordan Pickford will function in goal for the Toffees after shipping in three goals in his last league outing. Yerry Mina will resume his defensive partnership with James Tarkowski at the centre of Everton’s backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Mason Holgate will fill in as the left-back while Nathan Patterson hopes to give a good account of himself as the right-back. Both of them will be instructed to defend their penalty box well if the Merseyside club want to secure a clean sheet on the road this weekend.
Michael Keane will be available for selection on the bench as he provides cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Idrissa Gueye, Abdoulaye Doucoure and James Garner will anchor the midfield for Everton as they focus on making life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park.
Dwight McNeil will operate as the left-sided wide player while Alex Iwobi hopes to catch the eye on the right flank. Both of them need to be at their best if the Toffees are to create enough chances to win this game.
Amadou Onana will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Attack
Dominic Calvert-Lewin could get the nod to lead the charge for the Merseyside outfit in the final third if he can pass a late fitness test.
