Manchester City faced off against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Man City made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Erling Haaland finally broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 57th minute. However, Joshua Kimmich equalised for the German club from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute. The contest ended with Pep Guardiola‘s men being held to a 1-1 draw in Germany. However, Man City secured qualification into the next phase of the Champions League after winning the tie 4-1 on aggregate.
