Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has heaped praises on Antonio Conte. Conte was appointed by the club at the start of this season and the club are now top of the league.
Ancelotti was at the helm of the Blues for two years. The 57-year-old guided them to the Premier League title in the 2009-10 season and also won the FA Cup in the same season. Since Conte took charge, the West Londoners have lost only two matches in the Premier League so far and registered their 13th consecutive win in the last match against Stoke City.
Chelsea will equal Arsenal’s record of winning 14 matches back to back if they get the better off Tottenham Hotspur in their next match. Ancelotti who is right now of the manager of Bayern Munich praised the Italian gaffer wholeheartedly.
“What Conte is doing at Chelsea is extraordinary.
“Antonio has determination, ideas, personality and experience. He’s mature as a coach now and I’m truly happy for him.
“[Zinedine] Zidane has won the World Club Cup after winning the Champions League [with Real Madrid], and there were people who thought he was not a coach.
“The truth is Conte and Zidane had quality on the field and they’ve taken that into their new jobs with them.”
