Liverpool are plotting a move for RB Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg. The Swedish player is valued at around £20m.
Jurgen Klopp has been trying hard to bring Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic but the German club have made their intentions clear that they are not going to sell him. Liverpool even had a £11m bid rejected in the summer for the American teenager.
However, Klopp now has decided to turn his attention to Forsberg. The 25-year old has played a crucial part in Leipzig’s emergence this season. The German club remained a large part at the top of the Bundesliga table but after two defeats in their last three matches, they lost the top spot to Bayern Munich.
Forsberg helped Leipzig to earn a promotion to the first tier. The versatile player has scored five goals and also laid nine another assist this season. The player can be deployed anywhere in the midfield and attack and could be a very good buy for the Reds.
