In a recent tweet, Sport1 reporter Christopher Michel stated that Arsenal are keeping a keen eye on Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Jesper Lindstrom. It has been claimed that the Gunners are eyeing a move to bring the Danish talent to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
@SPORT1

Lindstrom’s Impressive Form In German Football This Season
Lindstrom is enjoying a decent campaign at the German club as he has been responsible for producing several influential displays for them in the final third. The Denmark international has scored nine times and picked up four assists in 31 matches for his current employers this season across multiple competitions.
The 23-year-old has been a decent performer in the opponent’s half based on his average of 2.0 shots, 0.9 key passes and 1.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in Bundesliga. However, he needs to improve his ball distribution after completing only 68.1% of his attempted passes in the German top-flight (stats via whoscored).
The Taastrup-born talent’s current deal at Frankfurt is set to run out in the summer of 2026. Thus, it won’t be easy for Arsenal to snap him up at the end of this season.
Should Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Move In For Lindstrom?
Lindstrom is proficient at engineering space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He can shoot the ball with power and precision from long range. Lindstrom mainly functions as an attacking midfielder but can also play as a left-sided wide player or as a secondary striker up top if asked to do so.
The Danish attacker can also create some decent plays for others around him in the final third. He is a great dribbler with the ball as well but needs to find a way to improve his passing deep inside the opponent’s half.
We can expect Lindstrom to add more depth to Mikel Arteta‘s attack at the Emirates Stadium. He will undoubtedly offer some serious competition for Martin Odegaard at the North London club in the coming seasons.
At 23, Lindstrom has got his best years in front of him and would be an excellent acquisition for the Gunners in the long run. Hence, Arteta should think about moving in for him when the transfer window reopens later this summer.
