A change in administration surely hasn’t had an immediate effect on Crystal Palace. The Eagles now sit at the 17th position in the league table floating just above the relegation zone. Here’s how the players fared against Arsenal.
The Best And The Worst Crystal Palace Players from Their Defeat Vs Arsenal
Hennessey (7.5)- Did great to keep Crystal Palace in the game after Giroud’s goal.
A couple of good saves in the first half had kept the hopes alive for the Eagles.
Ward (6.5)- Palace defended all night and the pressure took a toll on its defenders. Ward is the best example for that.
He headed the ball into his own net following Iwobi’s lofted header.
Tomkins (7)- For someone who just got into the first team and had less training time, he looked solid.
He kept the central defensive position stable keeping Arsenal attacks ta bay most of the match. He was booked consequently.
Dann (6.5)- His deflection played an important part in Arsenal’s second goal. Apart from that, he was reassuring at the back.
Kelly (5.5)- He looked really poor throughout most of the game. Gave away possession and nearly gifted the ball to Sanchez. Was probably the worst defender of all.
