According to a report from Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside club are showing interest in Ryan Gravenberch from Bundesliga. It is understood that the Reds require midfield reinforcements this summer, and the former Ajax midfielder has been identified as a potential option.
Gravenberch’s Struggling Campaign In The Bundesliga This Season
The 20-year-old is struggling for game time with the German giants, and his future has been called into question. He has only managed to find the back of the net on one occasion over 23 appearances across all fronts.
The Amsterdam-born talent has mostly come onto the pitch as an impact substitute which explains why he is only averaging 0.6 tackles, 0.5 shots and 0.4 key passes per game in the Bundesliga. However, he has been excellent with his ball distribution after completing 89.4% of his attempted passes in the German top flight (stats via whoscored).
He is under contract at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2027. Hence, it would be tough for Liverpool to convince Bayern to sell him this summer.

Jurgen Klopp should definitely consider bringing him aboard, as he could be the long-term successor for Fabinho and Jordan Henderson in the midfield department. He would be a decent reinforcement this summer, although it would take a decent sum of money to bring him over to Anfield.
