Tottenham Hotspur will clash heads with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium this Saturday night as they hope to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs suffered a shock 1-0 loss away at Sheffield United in midweek which has dampened their spirits ahead of this game.
Antonio Conte would probably opt for a 3-4-3 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first XI for this contest away from home. Harry Kane will once again lead the charge for the North London club in the final third.
3-4-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Wolves
Defence
Fraser Forster will function in between the sticks for Spurs after shipping in one goal in his last appearance. Conte will name a back three of Cristian Romero, Eric Dier and Clement Lenglet as they try to keep the Wolves attackers at bay during the 90 minutes.
Davinson Sanchez has to settle for a spot on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will anchor the midfield for Tottenham as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Ben Davies could get the nod to function as the left-sided wide player. Emerson Royal is a major doubt for this game as he is still recovering from a knee problem. If he can pass a late fitness test, he should get a chance to impress on the right wing.
Pedro Porro and Ivan Perisic will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to catch the eye as the second-half substitutes if Conte decides to call upon their services.
Attack
Heung-min Son will get the nod to shine as the left-winger while Dejan Kulusevski tries to create some decent chances for others around him from the right.
Conte will ask both of them to stretch the Wolves defence so that they can offer some decent service to Harry Kane, who will once again spearhead the Tottenham attack on his own up top. The English striker would be eager to find the back of the net this weekend after being rested in the FA Cup defeat away at Sheffield earlier this week.
Richarlison and Lucas Moura will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of this league contest at the Molineux.
