According to a report from The Sun, it was stated that West Ham United are interested in signing Alex Scott of Bristol City to add more depth to their midfield department. However, the Championship side have set a £20 million price tag on the 19-year-old which is more than what the Hammers could be willing to pay for him.
Scott’s Campaign With Bristol City So Far This Season
The English youngster has been an integral part of the Championship outfit in this campaign as he has done well to anchor their midfield department after producing some influential displays in the central areas. He has found the back of the net on one occasion and produced four assists over 37 appearances for Bristol City so far this season.
The Guernsey-born talent has been more than reliable in the middle of the park after averaging 2.4 tackles, 1.0 interceptions, 0.7 clearances, 0.9 key passes and 1.0 dribbles per game in the EFL Championship. He has also been accurate with his ball distribution after completing 80.4% of his attempted passes in the English second division (stats via whoscored).
