Antonio Conte thinks that the €300m offered by a Chinese club to Cristiano Ronaldo is not right. Chelsea recently sold Oscar to Shanghai SIPG for a reported fee of £52m.
Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo’s agent confirmed that he received an enormous offer from an unnamed club from China and they were willing to shell a whopping €100m per year for the service of the Portuguese.
Mendes also claimed that they had rejected the bid as Ronaldo is very happy at Real Madrid.
Recently the Chinese Super League have roped in a number of heavyweight players by attracting them with huge wages the latest being Carlos Tevez. Tevez is set to become the world’s highest paid footballer with an estimated earnings of £615,000-a-week.
Conte said he doesn’t want to believe what is not real, “I think it’s an incredible story. We are talking about a lot, lot, lot of money.
“I don’t want to trust in this. I don’t want to believe in this, because, I think, we are talking about an amount of money which is not right.”
