Manchester United faced off against Barcelona at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a win away from home in the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.
Man United made a poor start to the second half as they conceded the opening goal in the 50th minute when Marcos Alonso scored from close range. However, Erik ten Hag’s men netted the equaliser just two minutes later when Marcus Rashford found the back of the net with an impressive finish. Jules Kounde scored an unfortunate own goal in the 59th minute which gave the visitors the lead. However, Raphinha equalised for Barca in the 76th minute as Man United ended up playing out a 2-2 draw on the road tonight.

GK: David De Gea – 7/10
The Spanish keeper made a few impressive saves at the back but won’t be happy after conceding two goals in the second half.
RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6.5/10
He did his fair share of defending and was lively in the opponent’s half
CB: Raphael Varane – 6.5/10
The Frenchman defender cleared the danger when needed and made one good run with the ball.
CB: Luke Shaw – 6.5/10
The English sensation tried his best to keep things solid at the back and engineered two good chances in the final third.
LB: Tyrell Malacia – 7/10
Malacia performed his defensive duties well and had some bright moments in the Barcelona half.
CDM: Casemiro – 7/10
The Brazilian midfielder was a positive influence in both halves and was a real threat in front of the opponent’s goal.
RM: Bruno Fernandes – 7/10
The Portuguese playmaker came back to defend when required and managed to engineer a couple of good opportunities for his teammates to score.
CM: Wout Weghorst – 6.5/10
He caused a few headaches for the Barca defenders but never looked like he would score.
CM: Fred – 7/10
Fred got stuck in with some solid tackles and was good on the ball. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.
LM: Jadon Sancho – 6.5/10
He showed some flashes of what he is capable of but lacked quality in the final third.
ST: Marcus Rashford – 8/10
Rashford was a constant menace in the opposition half and got his name on the scoresheet with a great finish in the 52nd minute.
