Arsene Wenger thinks that Chelsea could still lose the title. Antonio Conte’s side have been sitting on the top of the table after an unbeaten run of 12 matches this season. The Blues are currently nine points clear of fourth-placed Arsenal.
The Gunners’s wonderful run had been halted by two successive defeats at the hands of Everton and Manchester City. They defeated West Bromwich Albion 1-0 in the last match but now will have to rely heavily on Chelsea’s performance.
A win against Stoke City will leave Chelsea with only one win behind to equal the Gunners long-standing record of 14 unbeaten matches.
He said, “At the moment Chelsea are the super-favourites because they are quite big and made a big difference.
“But it is theirs to lose as we say here in England. They can still lose it, at the moment they have won it but they can still lose it.
“It’s still a long way to go and very difficult for everybody so the head-to-head (matches) will have a vital importance.
“They have addressed their problems well. You have to give credit to Conte to find a solution that has balanced well his team.”
