Everton will face Arsenal as they welcome the league leaders to Goodison Park on Saturday hoping to turn things around under the tutelage of Sean Dyche. The Toffees will come into the match on the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat at the hands of West Ham United in their last outing so they will be hoping to produce a better result in this home encounter.
Sean Dyche could opt for a 4-4-2 formation and is expected to make a few changes to the starting XI. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Neal Maupay will form a two-man strike team to lead the charge up front while Jordon Pickford looks to operate in between the sticks.
4-3-3 Everton Predicted XI Vs Arsenal
Defence
Jordan Pickford will function in goal for the Toffees after conceding two goals in his last appearance. Dyche will allow James Tarkowski to form the customary centre-half partnership with Conor Coady as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay throughout the game.
Vitaliy Mykolenko will keep his spot as the left-back while Seamus Coleman tries to put in a hard-working performance on the opposite flank. Both of them need to maintain their shape defensively so that they can restrict the opposition attackers from creating too many opportunities from wide areas.
Mason Holgate will provide cover for the defensive positions as he takes a spot on the bench.
Midfield
Alex Iwobi and Amadou Onana will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside outfit as they try to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park. They will be tasked with creating decent opportunities for the attackers down the middle.
Demarai Gray will continue to function as the left-sided wide player while Dwight McNeil hopes to catch the eye as the right-winger.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gueye will be named on the bench as they wait for a chance to shine in the second half if Dyche opts to call upon his services.
Attack
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Neal Maupay will lead the charge for Everton on the attacking end of the pitch. Both of them will need to find a way to cause a few problems for the Arsenal defenders this weekend.
