Zlatan Ibrahimovic thinks Manchester United can still win the Premier League. The Red Devils are on a four-match winning run in the Premier League for the first time under Jose Mourinho.
United are sitting in the sixth position with 33 points, 13 points adrift of League toppers Chelsea. They will take on Middlesbrough on the last day of the year.
The eccentric Swede arrived from Paris Saint-Germain in this summer after his contract with the French club ended. The 35-year-old has scored eight goals in his last ten matches and has missed only a single match in the English top flight, that too for accumulating five yellow cards.
Zlatan has a decorated career winning League honours all over the world including Barcelona, Inter Milan and PSG. Ibrahimovic said that winning the League from this position is still possible.
“I think so, we had our up and down moments, winning losing, winning losing
“We had our moments where the results haven’t been what they should have been after good performances, but we are still there and we have been closing the gap.
“So hopefully the other teams can do some mistakes and close the gap even more and push the gap between other teams.
“We are working hard for it, believing in it, we are here to win. We have no excuses, we are here for what we are able to want and do and that’s win a title,” he added.
