West Ham United will take on Everton as they welcome them to the London Stadium on Saturday night hoping to get all three points from this home encounter. The Hammers will come into the match on the back of a 1-0 loss against Wolves which sees them in the relegation zone with just 15 points so far in this campaign.
David Moyes will probably make use of the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this home encounter. Gianluca Scamacca will get the nod over Michail Antonio to lead the charge down the middle.
4-3-3 West Ham United Predicted XI Vs Everton
Defence
Lukasz Fabianski will operate in between the sticks for this away encounter. The Polish shot-stopper will hope to give a strong performance and secure a clean sheet. Nayef Aguerd will form the customary centre-half partnership with Kurt Zouma at the heart of West Ham’s backline.
Aaron Cresswell should continue at the left wing-back spot, whereas Vladimir Coufal will keep his place on the other flank as the right wing-back. The full-backs will have to get forward to stretch the opposition and remain compact defensively.
Thilo Kehrer and Ben Johnson will take a spot on the bench to provide defensive cover for the backline.
Midfield
As mentioned earlier, Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice will continue in the central areas alongside Lucas Paqueta, whereas Rice will assume more of a defensive role to shield the back four and proficiently distribute possession in the central areas. On the other hand, Paqueta will look to get deep into the opposition’s backline and create opportunities in front of the goal.
Flynn Downes will take a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the latter stages of the game.
Attack
Said Benrahma will replace Pablo Fornals to feature on the opposite flank of Jarod Bowen taking up the wide positions, and playing on the left and right-wing, respectively.
As mentioned earlier, Scamacca will replace Antonio to lead the line for the visitors for this encounter. The Italian forward will hope to make the most of his chances and get his name on the scoresheet again after netting one in his last outing.
Antonio will have to wait for his chance to impress in the final third as he takes a spot on the bench.
