Leeds United entertained Cardiff City at Elland Road earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win and progress into the next round of the FA Cup. The Whites made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the first minute when Wilfried Gnonto found the back of the net with an outstanding effort. Rodrigo doubled Leeds’ advantage in the 34th minute before Gnonto scored again just two minutes later which gave the home side a 3-0 lead at the half-time break.
Patrick Bamford netted a quick-fire brace in the second half before Cardiff scored two late goals courtesy of a brace from Callum Robinson. The contest ended with Jesse Marsch’s side earning an impressive 5-2 win at home.
