Manchester City With Their Dynamic Transfer Policy
United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union had dire consequences for English football as that decision brought forth the denial of Premier League clubs to bring in young talents from various parts of Europe. This resulted in the confinement of English clubs in bringing in young talented individuals from inside the UK.
The battle among top Premier League clubs to find top British talent to bolster their squad has in turn intensified over the years but the Etihad club has never backed down on a challenge. They have continued to find top talents across England as we’ve seen with the likes of Phil Foden and several others following his footsteps at the Academy in the form of James McAtee and Cole Palmer.
The Mancunian giants are renowned for their wider transfer policy where they put immense focus on bringing in talented individuals to the youth academy in order to bolster their options.
Midwood A Brilliant Addition To The Youth Academy?
The 15-year-old sensation is the latest young prospect to come out of a club that produced Kyle Walker and his England teammate Harry Maguire. The fact that he has also been approached by Premier League rivals Liverpool proves that he has the potential to play at a high level and develop into one of Europe’s best young talents.
Pep Guardiola is yet to decide on his future but the young forward has already completed his medical and will be announced as a City player ahead of the January transfer window.
