Leeds United locked horns with Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result away from home in the Premier League. The Whites made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the tenth minute courtesy of Crysencio Summerville’s goal. However, Harry Kane equalised for Spurs just 15 minutes later before Rodrigo gave Leeds the lead again in the 43rd minute. The Yorkshire side went into the half-time interval 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Ben Davies found the leveler for Spurs just six minutes into the second half. However, Rodrigo Moreno got his name on the scoresheet yet again in the 76th minute to put Leeds 3-2 up on the scoreline. Jesse Marsch’s side got complacent and conceded two quick goals after Rodrigo Bentancur netted a quick-fire brace to turn the contest on its head. The match finished with the Whites suffering a hard-fought 4-3 loss away at North London.
