Carlo Ancelotti will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could name his strongest starting XI for this game. Hence, we can expect both Luka Modric and Toni Kroos to play from the start versus Xavi’s men this weekend. However, Thibaut Courtois might not be risked in this match as he continues to recover from his injury.

Defence
Andriy Lunin will operate in between the sticks for the Madrid giants after shipping in one goal in midweek. However, Thibaut Courtois is unlikely to recover in time for this highly anticipated clash in front of the Madrid supporters. Both David Alaba and Eder Militao will function as the centre-backs as they try to keep the Barca attackers at bay throughout the game.
