Barcelona will face off against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night in their next Champions League match-up for the group stages. The Catalan club will be travelling to Allianz Arena after an enthralling 5-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen. They will be looking to continue their rich run of form against the German outfit as well.
Xavi will put the 4-3-3 formation to use allowing Lewandowski to continue up top while Ousmane Dembele and Raphinha feature in the wide areas to provide support.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup Vs Bayern Munich
Defence
Marc-André ter Stegen will operate in between the sticks for Barca as he looks to secure a clean sheet in this away encounter. Eric Garcia returns to form the centre-half partnership with Ronald Araujo at the heart of Xavi’s defence as they hope to keep the opposition at bay during the match.
Jordi Alba will probably keep his place at left-back while Jules Kounde hopes to impress on the opposite flank. Both of them will be allowed to get forward and create attacking opportunities.
Sergi Roberto and Alex Balde will take a spot on the bench as they provide cover for the full-back positions.
Midfield
Xavi could opt for Pedri, Sergio Busquets and Frenkie De Jong to dominate the midfield areas. They will be given the responsibility to efficiently distribute the possession at the centre of the park and create enough chances in front of the goal for their teammates up front.
Franck Kessie and Gavi will have to settle for a place on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the latter half.
Attack
Ousmane Dembele will feature as the left-sided wide player while Raphinha looks to put in an influential display on the opposite flank.
Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the Catalan giants in the attacking third. The Polish forward has been in great form recently and would be expected to find the back of the net against his former teammates.
Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half.
