Real Madrid will entertain Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Sunday afternoon as they try to secure a victory in front of their home fans. The Madrid giants managed to pick up an easy 3-0 win against Celtic in midweek which will give them even more momentum ahead of this league clash.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a few changes to his starting XI for this game. The likes of Rodrygo, Lucas Vazquez and Antonio Rudiger might all get a chance to play from the start versus Mallorca this weekend.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Mallorca
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will feature in goal for Los Blancos after he secured a comfortable clean sheet versus Celtic in midweek. Antonio Rudiger could get a chance to impress alongside David Alaba at the centre of Real Madrid’s defence as they try to stop the opposition from scoring during the 90 minutes.
Lucas Vazquez will probably get a start at right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to put in a good display as the left-back. Both of them will be given the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the final third.
Nacho, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Ancelotti will rely on Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde to dominate the midfield battle and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Luka Modric could be rested on the bench alongside Eduardo Camavinga. However, the midfield duo will be expected to come on and make a difference in the second half if needed.
Attack
Vinicius Junior will hope to catch the eye as the left-winger while Rodrgyo gets an opportunity to give a good account of himself from the right.
Eden Hazard will spearhead Ancelotti’s attack down the middle. The Belgian international will fancy his chances of scoring when he laces up to face off against the Mallorca centre-halves this weekend.
Marco Asensio and Mariano Diaz will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to impress in the latter stages if Los Blancos are in need of a goal by then.
Karim Benzema will be out of action for the Madrid outfit due to a muscle injury. Ancelotti would still hope that he has enough firepower on the pitch to win this game in La Liga.
