Jurgen Klopp doesn’t want to hurry Philippe Coutinho who has been sidelined after injuring his ankle against Sunderland.
Coutinho was a stellar performer and had inspired Liverpool who are having a brilliant season thus far. The introduction of Jurgen Klopp the last season is clearly reflecting on their performance this season as the Reds are currently six points behind League leaders Chelsea.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has scored 5 goals and registered 5 assists under his name. Liverpool had suffered without him as they lost to Bournemouth and also drew to West Ham United before securing back to back win against Middlesbrough and Everton.
He earlier said that he is expecting to make him available against Manchester City but Klopp refused to make such promises.
“He’s not in training. He can’t rush. It was a serious injury. We need to wait.
“It was a serious injury, so we need to wait. Whenever he is back, the season is long enough for him to help us
“All the players are different. He was in a very good way but then it was a little more difficult because he had a reaction. I don’t think it will be a long-term.
“I don’t want to say (Man City) is not possible. We have to see.”
