Barcelona locked horns with Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium earlier today as they focused on collecting all three points on their travels. Barca made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 21st minute when Raphinha found the back of the net with his header. Robert Lewandowski doubled his team’s advantage just 15 minutes later with an excellent volley. The Catalan giants went into the half-time break with a healthy two-goal lead.
Eric Garcia made the points secure for Barcelona with an easy finish in the 50th minute. Xavi’s men sat on their lead well and secured a comfortable 3-0 win on the road.

The German keeper made a few solid saves at the back and secured a well-deserved clean sheet tonight.

He earned the ball back a handful of times and did really well to keep the Sevilla attackers frustrated.

The Spanish talent made one crucial interception during the game and scored Barca’s third goal with an easy finish.
LB: Alex Balde – 6.5/10
Balde kept things tidy at the back but could last only 63 minutes.
CM: Gavi – 7/10
He offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and had some bright moments in the final third.
CM: Sergio Busquets – 7.5/10
The Spanish midfield ace was not shy of a tackle and managed to make life difficult for the home side at the centre of the park.
CM: Pedri – 7/10
He orchestrated a few inviting opportunities for his teammates in the final third.
RW: Raphinha – 8/10
The Brazilian winger was a constant menace down the right flank and opened the goal-scoring with a good header in the 21st minute.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 8/10
The Polish forward produced a moment of pure magic when he scored with a great volley. He was also tidy with his link-up play up top.
LW: Ousmane Dembele – 7/10
Dembele caused a few problems for the Sevilla defenders but didn’t do enough to register a goal or an assist.
