Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has claimed that Jürgen Klopp would have been perfect for the Gunners. Klopp was appointed as Liverpool manager last season.
Arsene Wenger is out of contract at the end of this season and hasn’t been offered a new contract. He recently celebrated his 20-year stint with the Gunners. The gaffer has won a number of coveted trophies including the Premier League three times but the one trophy that has eluded him for years is the Champions League. They last played in the final in 2006 but lost 2-1 to a superior Barcelona.
A lot of names have been surfaced with the likes of Diego Simeone and Eddie Howe to replace the veteran who has been in charge for almost a decade but Parlour thinks otherwise.
“I mean Jurgen Klopp would have been perfect, ‘til he went to Liverpool.”
“You’ve got [Pep] Guardiola, he’s at Man City now.
“And all of the top coaches really [are signed to other clubs]. How are you gonna get a top coach?”
