Liverpool legend John Aldridge thinks that Liverpool should go for Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan forward spent three seasons at the Anfield before moving to Nou Camp to play for Barcelona.
Suarez was signed from Ajax in 2011 and went on to score 82 goals in 133 appearances. He is still loved by the Reds Supporter and also named his daughter Delfina which is an anagram of Anfield.
The 29-year-old is arguably one of the best forwards to have ever donned the Reds jersey. He recently signed a contract with the Catalans which will keep him at the club till 2021 and has a release clause of €200m.
Aldridge said that he is happy with Liverpool’s performance but the Reds should try to re-sign him.
“The squad is quite good to be honest because we’re not in Europe
“Coutinho is coming back soon and Matip and Gomez too. Plus the young lads have plenty of potential.
“The manager will know if he needs to buy one but if the right man isn’t available he’ll play the kids. Money is available but he won’t go out and buy for the sake of it.
“Personally, I’d go and get Suarez.”
