Manchester City locked horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn all three points on the road and take one step closer to lifting the Premier League title. Pep Guardiola’s men made an excellent start to the game as they grabbed the lead in the seventh minute courtesy of Kevin De Bruyne’s fine finish. However, Wolves responded just four minutes later via Leander Dendoncker’s tidy strike.
De Bruyne gave Man City the lead again in the 16th minute before going on to score again and completing his hattrick just eight minutes later. The visitors went into the half-time interval 3-1 up on the scoreline.
De Bruyne added another goal to his name at the hour mark before Raheem Sterling put the icing on the cake by scoring an easy goal in the 84th minute. The match finished with Man City cruising to a 5-1 win on the road.

GK: Ederson – 6.5/10
The Brazilian keeper made a couple of good saves but won’t be pleased after conceding a goal early in the game.
RB: Joao Cancelo – 7/10
He performed his defensive duties well and was a threat going forward.
CB: Fernandinho – 6.5/10
Fernandinho did well to fill in as a makeshift centre-half and managed to restrict the opposition from scoring more than once.
CB: Aymeric Laporte – 6.5/10
The Spaniard did what was required of him on the defensive end of the field.
LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 7/10
Zinchenko was strong in the air and made one good chance in the opponent’s half.
CM: Rodri – 7.5/10
He was a powerful presence in the air and anchored the midfield with conviction during the 90 minutes.
CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 7/10
Gundogan made two crucial interceptions and was mostly ineffective in the final third.
RW: Raheem Sterling – 7.5/10
He caused a lot of problems for the opposition due to his creativity and running. Sterling was rewarded with a goal late in the game.
CAM: Kevin De Bruyne – 10/10
The Belgian sensation was simply unstoppable tonight. He scored four great goals to give his team a dominant win away from home.
LW: Phil Foden – 7.5/10
Foden had a lot of promising moments in the attacking end of the field but failed to register a goal.
ST: Bernardo Silva – 8/10
The Portuguese talent led the line well for Man City and ended the game with an assist to his name.
