In a recent report, La Lazio Siamo Noi mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić. It is believed that Spurs could move in for the Serbian playmaker if they end up securing a UEFA Champions League spot for next season.

Milinković-Savić has produced a series of productive performances at the heart of Lazio’s midfield and has firmly established himself amongst the best midfielders in Italian football. The Spain-born sensation has found the back of the net on nine occasions and secured ten assists in 41 matches for the Italian club this season on all fronts.
The 27-year-old has usually been consistent with his performances for Lazio over the past eight months as he is averaging 1.9 tackles, 0.9 interceptions, 1.2 clearances, 1.9 shots, 1.3 key passes and 1.2 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A. Milinkovic-Savic is a good tackler of the ball and can earn possession back for his side at the centre of the park when he is playing with confidence on the field. The Serbia international usually clears the danger when needed and can keep the ball moving with conviction in midfield. He has contributed by scoring and creating his fair share of goals and can even make some clever runs with the ball towards the opponent’s penalty box.
At 27, Milinkovic-Savic is only getting better with each season, so Spurs will do well to lure him to the English capital in the summer. However, a potential move might rest over whether Tottenham manage to secure a top-four place in the Premier League this season.
