In a recent interview with Give Me Sport, journalist Pete O’Rourke revealed that Tottenham Hotspur could consider moving in for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez. O’Rourke said,

“I think Fabio Paratici is a big fan of Lautaro Martinez, as is Antonio Conte.

“If they get any indication that maybe a deal can be done, I’m sure they will consider it.”

Martinez’s Good Record In Italian Football This Season

Martinez is having a decent season at San Siro as he has produced several influential performances while leading the line for Inter over the past eight months. The Argentine sensation has been involved in 40 matches for the Italian outfit during this campaign, netting 16 goals and picking up two assists in various competitions.

The 24-year-old has done well to average 2.8 shots, 0.9 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A. However, he needs to improve his accuracy when distributing the ball in the final third, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 72.4% in the Italian top tier (stats via whoscored).
