Real Madrid faced off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they focused on securing a victory on the road. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game and took the lead in the 21st minute when Karim Benzema scored with a great header. The Frenchman doubled his team’s lead just three minutes with another header. However, Kai Havertz got a goal back for Chelsea in the 40th minute as the Madrid giants went into the half-time 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Benzema scored again in the 46th minute and completed his hattrick which restored Real Madrid’s two-goal lead. The Spanish outfit ended up cruising to a 3-1 win in the English capital.
