Barcelona entertained Sevilla at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points from this home clash. The Catalan giants made a bright start to the game but were not able to break the opposition down in the first half.
Barca ramped up the pressure in the second 45 minutes and finally broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute when Pedri scored with an excellent finish. The contest ended with Xavi’s men earning a narrow 1-0 win at home.

The German keeper made a few decent saves during the game to keep his clean sheet intact.

The Brazilian full-back performed his defensive duties well and was a threat going forward as well.

Araujo defended his penalty box with conviction and was lively on the ball.
CB: Gerard Pique – 7.5/10
He performed well on the defensive end of the pitch and did enough to keep the Sevilla attackers at bay during the game. Pique was a threat at the other end of the field as well.
LB: Jordi Alba – 7.5/10
Alba was solid at the back and engineered two key chances in the final third.
CM: Frenkie de Jong – 7/10
He earned the ball back a couple of times and created some decent chances up top. De Jong also made a few decent runs with the ball from midfield.
CM: Sergio Busquets – 6.5/10
Busquets kept possession moving quite well but didn’t offer much in the final third.
CM: Pedri – 8/10
The Spanish youngster did his fair share of defending and popped up with the winning goal in the 72nd minute for his team.
RW: Ousmane Dembele – 8/10
He completed a few decent dribbles with the ball and engineered a lot of clear-cut chances in the opponent’s half. Dembele has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 6.5/10
Aubameyang caused a few problems for the opposition but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
LW: Ferran Torres – 7/10
The Spaniard was a constant menace down the left flank but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
