Chelsea clashed heads with Burnley at Turf Moor earlier today as they looked to earn all three points away from home. Both sides canceled each other out in the first half as they went into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.
The game opened up for the Blues in the second half. Reece James gave Chelsea the lead in the 47th minute before Kai Havertz scored two quick-fire goals to put his team 3-0 up by the hour mark. Christian Pulisic added another goal via a tap-in from close range in the 69th minute. The contest ended with the West London giants earning a comfortable 4-0 win on the road.

The German talent did what was required of himself on the defensive third of the field and was also a threat at the other end.

James performed his defensive responsibilities well and had a great game down the right flank. He ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.

He anchored the midfield well and made a couple of decent runs going forward. The Frenchman even engineered some decent openings in the final third.
CM: Jorginho – 7/10
The Italy international was quite good with the ball at his feet and offered decent protection for his backline.
LM: Saul Niguez – 7/10
Niguez created a couple of good opportunities for others around him and was strong in the air.
RAM: Mason Mount – 6.5/10
Mount had a couple of bright moments but didn’t do enough to score today.
LAM: Christian Pulisic – 9/10
He made multiple exciting runs with the ball and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts in the opponent’s half.
ST: Kai Havertz – 8/10
Havertz scored two quick-fire goals early in the second half which killed the contest off.
