Kane Gets 8.5, Lloris With 7 | Tottenham Hotspur Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Brighton

Tottenham Hotspur entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home and book a place in the next round of the FA Cup. Spurs made a bright start to the game and took the lead in the 13th minute courtesy of a stunning strike from Harry Kane. Solly March scored an unfortunate own goal for the Seagulls just 11 minutes later which gave the North London giants a 2-0 lead at half-time.

Yves Bissouma got a goal back for Brighton in the 63rd minute when he found the back of the net with a deflected attempt. Just three minutes later, Harry Kane made qualification secured for his team when he netted another goal as Spurs cruised to an impressive 3-1 win at the English capital.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player performed during the match against the Seagulls.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 7/10

The French keeper made a few important saves at the back but will be disappointed for not securing the clean sheet.

CB: Davinson Sanchez – 6.5/10

He got stuck in with some solid tackles and cleared the danger when needed.

CB: Cristian Romero – 7/10

Romero earned possession back a couple of times and didn’t shy away from putting his foot through the ball when Brighton were on the attack.

CB: Ben Davies – 6.5/10

He made a few crucial clearances and performed well enough to restrict the opposition to just one goal.
