Zlatan Ibrahimović has claimed that if he had the current mindset earlier in his career he could have done much better. The 35-year-old arrived at Old Trafford on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
Zlatan has been starting as the first choice striker since his arrival from and has scored 13 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils this season. Manchester United defeated Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in the last match and are six points adrift from a top four spots.
Zlatan had a string of goal droughts after the Manchester Derby but returned in fashion as he scored a brace against Swansea City. Since then he has scored in the remaining matches except for the last game.
The Swede said, “I think I play much more intelligently now because, of course, you change a lot during the year.
“You get a different physique, you get a different condition, strengths and experiences. But I wish I had the mind that I have today 10 years ago, because then I will be even more phenomenal.”
