Antonio Conte could revive his plan to bring Antonio Rudiger and Radja Nainggolan to Stamford Bridge as AS Roma are planning to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas and could offer any of the players in a deal.
Fabregas has been struggling to find game time under Conte but has recently been involved in some first team action. Coming off the bench he was the provider to Diego Costa’s winner against West Bromwich Albion. He also started against Manchester City as Nemanja Matic was injured and he didn’t disappoint as he was behind in Diego Costa’s equaliser.
Conte has so far preferred the midfield pairing of N’Golo Kanté and Matic to provide support to the back three. Fabregas is not defensively very sound but his attacking attributes are quite brilliant and has shown his glimpse in recent matches.
Although Conte has already told that the Spanish midfielder won’t leave in January. But if he does sign for AS Roma he will be able to play in the Europe and that could persuade him for a move to Roma who recently defeated AC Milan 1-0 and are right now second in the Serie A.
