West Ham United locked horns with Watford at Vicarage Road earlier today as they looked to secure a victory on their travels. The Hammers made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the fourth minute when Emmanuel Dennis scored with a brilliant strike. Tomas Soucek equalised for West Ham in the 27th minute when he found the back of the net with a low shot. Said Benrahma completed the turnaround for the East London outfit just two minutes later when he scored from close range. The visitors went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
David Moyes’ men were solid in the second half as well. Mark Noble put daylight between the two sides with his successful penalty just before the hour mark before Nikola Vlasic managed to add another goal in injury-time when he tapped the ball in from point-blank range. The contest finished with the Hammers earning an impressive 4-1 win away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each West Ham player fared during the clash against the Hornets.
