In a recent report, Mundo Deportivo mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. It is understood that Spurs are the latest club to approach the French wide player and are willing to offer a lot of money to get him on board.

Dembele’s Recent Injury Concerns At Barcelona

The Vernon-born talent has hardly featured for the Catalan giants in this campaign as he has missed a lot of key games for them due to multiple injuries. Dembele has participated in three matches for Barca this season, securing only 73 minutes of game time in various competitions.

The French wing wizard had a more fruitful time at the Nou Camp in the previous campaign when he found the back of the net on 11 occasions and provided five assists in 44 appearances for the Catalan club on all fronts.

Dembele even caught the eye by averaging 1.8 shots, 1.3 key passes and 2.1 dribbles per game in La Liga last season. Furthermore, he was tidy with his link-up play in the attacking end of the field, based on his pass completion rate of 85.8% in the Spanish top-flight (stats via whoscored).
