Manchester City faced off against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier today as they hoped to collect maximum points in the Premier League. The away side made a dream start to the game as they got their noses ahead in the seventh minute when Eric Bailly scored an unfortunate own goal. Bernardo Silva doubled Man City’s advantage just before the half-time interval when he scored with a tidy finish from close range. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break two goals to the good.
The home team put up some fight in the second half but didn’t do nearly enough to get themselves back in the game as Man City ran away with a 2-0 victory from the Theatre of Dreams.
Let’s take a look at how each Man City player performed during the clash against Man United.

The Brazilian keeper had just one save to make in the game and secured an easy clean sheet on the road.

CM: Kevin De Bruyne – 7/10
The Belgian international orchestrated a few inviting chances for others around him but squandered some decent chances to find the back of the net.

The German midfielder made a couple of important interceptions and also pulled off two good runs with the ball in the opponent’s half.

The Portugal international worked his socks off to challenge for every loose possession of the ball. He scored a deserved goal from a very tidy angle just before the stroke of half-time.
