Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer is set to leave the club in January, according to reports. A host of Premier League clubs including Liverpool are monitoring the player’s situation.
Jürgen Klopp is ready to make a move for the highly-rated midfielder in January. Bazoer has very limited experience this season as he appeared in only five matches in the Eredivisie, but his talent has interested a lot of heavy-weight clubs.
Klopp is very keen to strengthen his midfield and the midfielder would be the ideal option as he has the experience to play in a three-man midfield. Ajax mainly play with 4-3-3 the same formation Klopp has been using this season.
The 20-year-old used to play in the central defence during his stint with PSV Eindhoven. But after making his switch to Ajax, then coach Frank De Boer identified the player’s potential and deployed him in the midfield.
Since then the player has been thriving in the new position and has become one of the best young central midfielders.
