Salah, Firmino And Fabinho To Return | Predicted 4-3-3 Liverpool Lineup Vs Brighton And Hove Albion

Liverpool are eyeing a place at the top of the Premier League table when they lock horns with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. The Reds are in excellent form at the moment, having won all of their last four games in all competitions. They are trailing league leaders Chelsea by just one point and could move to the top if the results go in the right direction.

Predicted Liverpool Lineup Vs Brighton

Defence

Jurgen Klopp predictably rested a bunch of star players in their midweek win over Preston North End. The likes of Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas were all given rare starting opportunities but may all have to settle for a place on the bench.

At their expense, Klopp should recall Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate in the central defensive unit that will look to maintain its solidity. It is, though, a close call between Matip and Konate, but the latter might get the nod due to his excellent form lately.

Elsewhere, Liverpool should recall two of its premier fullbacks in Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold. They will restore the much-needed quality in the team’s build-up play as well as offer the additional solidity at the back. There will be a change in goal as well with Adrian making way for Alisson.

Midfield

Jurgen Klopp faces a selection dilemma in midfield. Naby Keita came on the receiving end of a nasty tackle from Paul Pogba last weekend while Thiago Alcantara and James Milner are both nursing injuries as well.

Liverpool were smart enough not to start with Jordan Henderson in the midweek game, so the club captain remains a guaranteed starter in this contest. The Premier League giants don’t have a lot of options alongside him, but they will be hopeful of the return of Fabinho while Curtis Jones could be the only player to retain his place in the starting eleven.

Attack

Moving forward, the Liverpool attack is set for a complete shuffle as the in-form Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino make their way back into the starting eleven, at the expense of Harvey Blair and Divock Origi.

On the left flank, it is close call between Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota. But we are expecting Klopp to opt for Mane as his pace could hurt the Brighton defenders this weekend.
